"We want it to be over. We just want to move on," teammate (for now) Kyle Korver said. "Obviously now Allen is probably going to be traded, or is going to be traded, so we just want to move on and not have to have long interviews after shootaround."
ESPN.com's Chris Sheridan is now reporting that the Sixers are looking to deal the 11 year vet by either tonight or tomorrow at the very latest. Philly's braintrust met Sunday to explore their options, and are looking to make a move sooner rather than later. It has also been widely reported that the Celtics, Mavs and Knicks have the best chance of getting A.I. Just to be difficult and to mess with everyone's mindscapes, Phil Jackson implied that the Lakers might also be interested in The Answer.
Personally, nothing would make me happier than seeing Iverson on Broadway. The Knicks would once again become relevant; I miss seeing a raucous Madison Square Garden; and anytime two emotionally combustible individuals like Iverson and Isiah Thomas have to co-exist for a prolonged stretch of time, the potential for hilarity is simply off the charts. Let's make this happen, Knicks!

Not only Isiah, but Starbury too! We'd see sparks flying all over.
I've been a Knicks fan for my entire life. However, a large part of me wants to see this team, under its current management, fail as miserably as possible. It just wouldn't be fair if Isiah and Dolan can screw everything up royally and then rectify it all (well, maybe not all, but at least they'd start selling out again) by cashing in on an unhappy superstar playing for a possibly worse run franchise.
The Knicks might be the team to make a deal, because they are the only team out there that would be willing to take on both Iverson and Webber's contract. When you're already $3Billion over the salary cap, what's another $40 million on the books going to hurt?
how fast do you think Webb would announce his retirement if told he would have to follow A.I. to New York? 2 seconds? 1?
I'd like to be closer to... ummm.. yo, how does one conjugate "baby's momma" when both the baby and the momma are plural?
Remember, regarding distances with children and their mommas, there's both "too far" and "can't get far enough." It's a delicate balance, and few men figure it out properly... but I'm Allen Iverson, and I'm good like that.
Phuck Filly. I worked myself half to death there, and they just keep bringing in chump coaches and Webber and God help me.... That team is going straight to the bottom, even with whoever they get in the trade for an aging, 5'10" shooting guard who needs 28 shots a game.
Sorry. It's been a tough week. My only regret is that the Arm Pantyhose fad never caught on. I have a whole warehouse full of those motherlovers.
PHILLY'S LOST AND POSSIBLY T-WOLVES GAIN HOW WILL THE WOLVES BE WITH AI AND KG
I have never reponded to any concerns Ihave had through and email.However. the recent news on A.I leaving requires a response. A.I and MO Chich are not the totally problem. I have coached Middle, and High School for over 30 years and the one thing all good coaces know, you need Atheletic and consistance at the coaching position. The 76s have been so mismanage from the top. Trading A.I want solve the problem. Bringin a new management team will. Bring in people who know how to build a team, not throw 30m away on plays who best playing days are over. The fan are the ones who will lose if A.I is traded and this mangement team stay. 76s owener/s trade the mangement tean and hire someone with a two year plan and give the fans hope.
A.L CAN GO TO THE KINCKS THEY NEED HIM THEY CAN GO ALL THE WAY WITH A.I
iverson! welcome 2 ny... lets make this live again! 1 love baby.
Hey,i'd love to see A.I come to knicks and shipp Steve Francis to philly would be a dream come true.
Stephon and Iverson thats a team that would be unstoppable he'd make everybody better, and to say the last thing everyone else forget about Iverson bring him to new york where he belongs since 4 yrs ago
i would like to see a.i in knicks uniform, not only he would make them a good team, ,they will be fun to watch, fans will go back to the garden, he will electrify the whole building, so for mr dolan,i think this is a no brainer, a.i will fill the garden again and you will have a true superstar that can carry the team.i hope you will consider him to our new york knicks team, hurray!!!!pls.
The knicks dont need him, Let the Mismanaged Knicks fail as they are.I am a fan and always will be and still watch them to this day. Who cares about superstardom and ego's right now, we dont need more of that at the garden. AI can score, but he has never ever won a championship on a team, AND he does not make the players around him better at all, like a true super star does (jordan, Bird, Mjohnson,Steve Nash, you get the point). We dont need the flash, bling bling, bad attitude, the knicks have enough of that already. There is no way he could co exist with SOME of the Selfish, miserable, ballhogging, Knicks (Mostley Marbury) that are on the team now. Couldnt even imagine if he came to the knicks, all the crying, pouting, towels over the heads on the bench, that would be going on. AI has to hoist and chuck up 28+ shots a game! Just what we need, another ball hog!! If you REALLY want to see the knicks fall apart even more, then he should come here, just so we could see how horribly run and managed the knicks are by ownership. Just goes to show you Money does not mean everything!!
Bring A.I on !!! This is great business sense for the owners and as a fan for life I am up to the challenge baby!!!!!!!!!
AI would be great for the Knicks if Philly was willing to take Marbury and Steve Francis in return. Imagine Q, Eddie Curry, and Jamal Crawford on the same team! You would need an extra eight basketballs to satisfy this assortment of low percentage chuckers!
i would love to see allen iverson go too san antonio spurs.him with tim duncan, tony parker man that would be an awesome team not as if the spurs wasnt good anyways.i just think if he wants a winning team then go to spurs we have normally always made the playoffs.my boyfriend love the 76ers but now that iverson is leaving he is switching teams.allen iverson is an awesome player and deserves to play with the best
also by the way i think that if we got the spurs together with allen iverson that would be an unstoppable team would almost be a perfect team actually..
