Newly released wide-angle footage from Saturday's Nuggerbocker-Knickets fiasco shows that Carmelo Anthony was the true cause of the brawl. As you can see from the following still shot, at the same moment of Mardy Collins' hard foul on J.R. Smith (which may have been ordered by Isiah), Carmelo is straight up instigating with a dirty "reach-in" foul on Nate Robinson (i.e. a "reach-in" to grab his goodies). No insights yet into the motivation behind 'Melo's school-boy foul away from the, uh, ball – but if you read his lips in the video, you can see him taunting Nate with, "Voulez-vous crochet avec moi?" Très gangsta.

Carmelo Anthony is so dirty he makes Bruce Bowen look like a dark-skinned Mr. Clean.

Boooooooo!!!! You finally write about my Nuggets and this is what you have to say!? Reggie Evans is the "nutcracker" not Melo. Now after Stern's ridiculous suspensions (15 and 10 games for Melo and J.R.) the Nuggets are a longshot to make the playoffs unless they can somehow manage to pick up Iverson in the next couple days. (sigh) There goes any chance of Melo making the trip to Las Vegas for the All-Star game and I can't help but start thinking about what next year will bring.
Please Miss Gossip, I beg of you to use your artistic gifts for good (making me happy by giving props to the Nugs, Suns and hating on the Clippers) and not evil. My NBA season is teetering on the edge of ruin. Please give me something to smile about before I turn my back on what is shaping up to be a lost season.
