We're co-opting a wildly popular feature from the NCAA Hoops Fanhouse, known as Dunks From the Day. This first one comes courtesy of Dominique Wilkins -- there was really no other choice to jump off the NBA Dunks From the Day -- on the face of Larry Bird.
You know, just for a second there ... I bet Larry Bird feared for his physical safety. You can argue about most stylish dunkers of all-time, if you'd like, but few brought the raw thunder that Dominique Wilkins was packing. He would rear back and attack the rim like it molested his little sister.
And I do believe that the post dunk celebration would've been just a little bit more subdued had the dunk come on anyone other than Larry Bird.
Handsomely edited video, too, if I do say so myself.

Larry got up on that one too...It wasn't like one of those dunks where the center tries to take the charge or goes all Soccer Dwyane and falls all over the place looking for a foul. It was just simply bad ass. Can't wait for the rest...

Yeah thats great. How many rings does Dominique have? How many MVP awards does "Nique" have? Wilkins was a dunker. Larry was the complete package.
