Young & the Restless Loves the NBA

Someone recently emailed me with the news that frequently-annoying NBA talking head, Stephen A. Smith - he of the recently cancelled TV show - is going to appear on the soap opera Young & the Restless. Ordinarily, this wouldn't register on the who-gives-a-crap meter, except that this is the second NBA-related appearance on the show.

As you can see above, injured Lakers forward Luke Walton was on the show last summer, playing - shocker! - some pickup basketball. If we admit to watching this soap a bit when we were younger ... will it damage our already miniscule credibility? It was college. Plenty of girls we knew watched the show. And when you skip rocks for jocks (nope, didn't play a sport, but the class was easy) and do nothing .... watching Y&R counts as nothing.

At any rate, one of the main reasons we watched the show back in college was the female you see for a split second at the beginning. Sharon Case. Though I couldn't find great pictures of her online, take my world for it - she's hot.
