Last time we heard from the Christies, Jackie was crackin' the whip, letting us and Doug know that he was making a comeback, with hopes of returning to the Raptors. Well, apparently she wasn't picky. From Sportsnet.ca:
According to a player agent, Doug Christie has signed a 10-day contract with the Los Angeles Clippers. So while Doug won't be playing for Toronto any time soon; he will be playing in Toronto when the Clips meet the Raps at the Air Canada Centre this Sunday. Unfortunately:
Raptors fans had been looking forward to the possibility of seeing Alvin Williams in a Clippers uniform, after the team had signed the former Raptors guard to a 10-day deal. However, it wasn't to be for Williams as that contract has expired and Los Angeles elected not to re-sign him to a second one.Oh, I can't wait to welcome back the NBA's most committed power couple! I'll have to look under the bed, but I may have even kept my "Doug Christie: 1, A.C. Green: 0" sign from last time.
Instead, the Clippers enlisted the services of Christie, who remains the Raptors' franchise leader in steals with 664.
Bonus: A very special Christies' song after the jump.
Just so we're clear, those lyrics were: "Cuz when I moved, baby you moved / And tried to set a pick up on this girl, but we made it through," right?

Jackie Christie's face confuses me racially and gender-ly.

What kind of relationship can 2 people have if doug can't trust himself to be on the road alone as well as his wife not trusting him to be on the road alone. He only signed a 10 day contract, so his wife can't be a pest with a non guaranteed contract. Doug will have to play his butt off for that. I don't see that with him being away from the game for more than a year.

Stop hating on Doug and Jackie. It is THEIR marriage and THEIR opinion is the only one that matters. Would all of you prefer him to cheat on his wife? Athletes have this stereotype of being cheaters that makes it impossible for most of you to believe there are some who honor their vows, love their spouse and remain faithful. As long as they are happy, everyone with all of the negativity should just shut up.

Here's the real scoop on the Christie's. They're getting paid and got everyone in a uproar on purpose. Their laughing all the way to the bank while people trip off them. Great idea, wish I'd thought of it myself. The more you trip on the Christie's the richer they get, got to give it to them!

I think its great that he is being faithful. Shows that not all professional athletes are dogs. People always talk about cheating but when someone is actually doing something right its still negative comments. She know how them stupid groupies can be and she making sure everybody know the business. If i was his wife i would be the same way.
