That's from 1995, but it feels much, much older -- though that could just be because I don't want to admit something filmed while I was in high school now looks like a relic. (Do you really want to feel old? Watch this.)

Not to nitpick, but he picks up his dribble around the 0:18 mark, no? Who does he end up passing to? In any case, I'm guessing the reason Hyundai picked Mr. Bogues wasn't due to his phenomenal 1994 season (no sarcasm intended: the guy averaged 10.1 assists per game that year, second behind John Stockton) but rather the simple fact he was the only NBA player would could actually fit into the Accent.
