County Superior Court and was ordered to pay $580 in fines and penalties. Today it was announced that he will be suspended for the next two games without pay. The decision hardly came as a surprise. The Kings are coming off an impressive win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, so it'll be interesting to see how they react to their coach's suspension. Nothing would make me happier than Artest sitting out the next couple of games in protest.
Musselman was arrested on October 22nd for driving under the influence of alcohol. He will miss Saturday (Nuggets) and Monday's (Hornets) games, both of which will be played in Sacramento.
It is expected that head assistant Scott Brooks, a former NBA player (he played 11 years in the League), will take over the coaching reins in Musselman's short absence.

I can't believe that all you can find time to write about is Musselman's DUI when the Kings are going to miss the playoffs. He is a loser coach who is bringing the Kings down to the same level as him. When is someone going to hold him accountable for the way the Kings are playing and losing. These are, by and large, the same group of men who rallied to finish in the playoffs under a coach who knew how to win with the hand he was dealt. Maybe Adelman didn't take us to the title and Adel-haters can point out that he didn't win it all in Portland either, but is it his fault he ran into teams with guys named Jordan and Shaq leading them and each of those guys had 2 other teammates of the NBA's top 50 all time players in Kobe and Scottie. The Maloofs plan must be to drive the Kings down so low that no one will want to watch(and since the move to Comcast to line their pockets, most of us can't)and then they can justify their decision to relocate the Kings to Vegas (give it 3 years) because no one will support them anymore. Arco used to be a feared place to play if you were the visitors, now we are back to waiting for the new greats like LeBron to come and play so we can ooh and aah, knowing we have little chance to win. What better coach to lead them down the path of destruction than Musselman, a career NBA under .500 loser.
Marcel,
Why don't you use your article to call it like it is instead of being a 'homer' for them. This team stinks from the head up!
dude, i don't think i've ever covered for this team. they stink, and everyone knows it. they're just too depressing to cover sometimes. sorry.
The Kings blow root and Mussleman blows .10
