At least, that's the gist you get from the commentator there. The audio and the video don't quite sync up (you hear Holman reacting to Araujo getting tossed long before you see it), but you get the gist of what's going on.
That's Rafael Araujo fouling Marvin Williams, and Hawks radio play-by-play guy Steve Holman reacting like he just witnessed the particularly bad scene in A Clockwork Orange.
At first glance, it doesn't look like much more than a hard, but perfectly reasonable foul ... but you don't get the perfect angle of it until about the :40 mark. There you see Araujo come across the lane, make body contact like a frieght train, and also put his elbow up into Williams' face. That's illegal.
At that point, the rage of Holman becomes a little more understandable. Still slightly insane, but understandable, nonetheless.
And pay special attention at the 1:30 mark, where Hawks coach Mike Woodson has a special Valentine's Day message for you.
Big thanks to Awful Announcing, via Lion in Oil.

I thought it was pretty sleezy for the fans to cheer for a player who got kicked out when they are ahead by 30 points. It's not like it was a momentum shift or anything
Bill Laimbeer called. He thinks that was a charge on Williams.
That's C-Rate Johnny Most.
It was a foul, nontheless, but without Hawks coach Over-reacting that play would have been nothing more than a foul. Clean foul. There was nothing illegal with that foul! Araujo was playing defense-not letting Williams get to the basket easily. Araujo's elbow was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Most everyone is over-reacting... Watch the play once more and you show me where the flagrant is. I dont see it.
it looks more like marvin williams jumped into his elbow....its a foul. contact was insidental. His arms went straight up..not forward or to the side or down acrossed his face.
how dare aroujo challange marvin williams when the jazz are up. you should give easy lay-ups just because you are up. don't play hard or challange a shot, just because the other team is playing horribly that night.
My personal opinion is Steve Holman is classless. The fan's at the Delta Center gave Rafael Araujo a standing ovation for playing good basketball. How dare Mr. Holman say the fans in Salt Lake are classless. I understand he was sticking up for the team he does play-by-play with...but he might want to try being a little more professional. He was not announcing for the WWE.
Just a little background:
Marvin and Araujo both played in the summer league against each other. Marvin was dominating and I guess Rafael was jealous and committed a hard foul (much worse than the foul in this video).
Later in the game Araujo got a touch foul and decided to take it out on Marvin again throwing him to the ground. Marvin Williams was pissed and got up to fight Rafael while his teammates were holding him back even after the refs called a second flagrant foul on Araujo ejecting him from the game.
Fans boo (this game was in Utah) and cheer Araujo.
The fans that cheered showed no class at all and that 'roided jerk shouldn't even be in the NBA.
The Fans that cheered don't have all the angles of replay, from a lot of angles it doesn't look flagrent at all. Obviously they will cheer if they disagree with the call, It also looks like he jumped into him and the elbow just caught him followed by a lot of acting to me. From the Hawks bench it probably looked worse then it was.
Araujo was a talentless bum in Toronto, and I can see nothing has changed. We can't believe we got a warm body for him in a trade.Chris Humphries is rounding into a fine player,Araujo will be lucky to get a gig in the D league next year.
