The line-up of C-, D- and Q-list celebrities who will compete on the new season of Dancing With the Stars was announced on Good Morning America this morning. Among the names listed in the star-studded field was none other than the NBA's very own, Clyde Drexler. Drexler, named one of the 50 Greatest
Professional dancer Elena Grinenko, who returns for her second season, will be Drexler's new Russian-like Olajuwon. Hopefully she knows how to glide.
The new season premieres March 19 on ABC. I'm dewy with anticipation.

Elena couldn't be paired with a nicer, classier guy. As someone who's known Clyde personally for many years, I hope he does well and represents his NBA breathren with style and grace. I'm sure he will.
PS to Elena: He's never on time for anything! And don't take him out to the golf course, though he has the best eyesight for finding lost golf balls as anyone I've ever known!

I am an avid admirer of Clyde the Glide and Hakeem. They made Houston proud both as cougars and as Rockets -- both are class acts and I hope Clyde dances with his feet as well as Emmitt did -- after all, he isn't as bulky as Emmitt (Fan of his too) Go Clyde, and by the way, loved your barbeque place in Houston when I lived there - your mom too! Good Luck -- I will not miss one program!

In Belgium Dancing With Stars just finished ... and guess who won ... on of our top basketball players in the country (Pieter Loridon)!!!
