It's official, Stephon Marbury is coming to a television set near you this week. Starting Friday, at 4:30 p.m. on Fox SportsNet, you will have to say good-bye to Oprah and all of your other favorite daytime talk-show hosts, and prepare to welcome the Knicks guard into your daily lives. His new show, "Stars on Stars", will be airing for the first time. Kobe Bryant will be the first guest to ever appear on the show, and you can see some of the behind-the-scenes footage on Kobe's personal site. Here's the money quote:
"Why would he pass when he can score all the time? (Laughs)"The other confirmed guests on the show are golfer Vijay Singh (they will be discussing women's place in society), director Spike Lee (the chat will revolve around Spike's new documentary: "When The Garden Broke"), Cincinati Bengals running back Rudy Johnson (Rudy will unveil his plan to lower the crime rate in the Bengals' locker room), and actor Michael Rapaport (who will try and explain how in the world he got himself associated with the Scarface video game).
I'm most looking forward to the interview with Laker legend Kareem Abdul Jabbar, which Marbury says was "intense." Does this mean they got into a fistfight on the set? There's only one way to find out.
