Earlier today, it was mere conjecture. Now, it's official. The increasingly problematic Ron Artest will rejoin his Kings teammates for Sunday's game against Denver: The Sacramento Kings will allow Ron Artest to return to the team, five days after his arrest on suspicion of domestic violence.Important to note: tomorrow's tilt will be seen by millions on ABC. From a public relations perspective, it's a prime opportunity to give the impression that everything is okay. For both fans and prospective trade destinations for Artest. On the other hand, maybe they just wanted to get him back ASAP, before this did balloon out of control. Artest may be a problem, but this latest charge is hardly anything new in professional sports.
The Kings called a news conference for Saturday afternoon to discuss the return of the controversial forward after missing two games.
Unlikely the Kings organization will answer any of this in the press conference, but stay tuned just in case.

Actually, tomorrow's game will be seen by about only about two million viewers (and that's generous). While that still counts as 'millions', its not necessarily a gigantic audience.
I KNOW THAT YOUNG MAN WHEN HE WAS A LITTLE KID HE WAS VERY POLITE I DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE PROJECT IN QUEENSBRIGE EVERYBODY WAS USING DRUGS HE WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE GROUP THAT SAID NO.I HAVE A LOT OF SIMPATIC FOR THAT YOUNG MAN BECAUSE HE CAME FROM A VERY POOR FAMILY AND DECENT MOTHER AND BROTHERS.
Yall need to leave Ron Artest alone! The guy is one of the premiere defenders in the league, and has finally found a fit with a team that he has made better. Nobody is perfect. The media, "yall", are always trying to slander the man's name whenever he makes a mistake. We are all individuals and therefore all come from different backgrounds and are raised differently. Why do we never hear anything about Artest's positive contributions to the game? "Yall" need to get lives that don't tarnish peoples' images and figure out another way to make some money. Get your bars up!
LEAVE RON ARTEST ALONE? maybe we will when he can leave women alone! the previous comment must have been written by s msn who was raised in the background that hitting women was acceptable, because i surely was'nt and i would guess that most people weren't. so i think that you may be alone on this one sir, and i think you should keep you're stupid comments to yourself. i am pretty sure if someone were to hit your sister you would want it publicized especially if the person who hit her was a professional basketball player, so i think you should get a life sir!
HEY SOBERDUDE, Your right, if someone hit my sister i would get riled. Other that that, Your the one that is OUT of LINE and needs TO KEEP THEIR STUPID COMMENTS TO THEMSELF. You don't know squat about their lives, who's to blame, or anything other than a police report that usually always takes the womans side and jails the man.
This blog is for people to express their thoughts and for you to tell someone to shut up because you don't agree with them shows how dumb you are.
This happened between Man and Wife. i'm very glad to see laws that protect women and men from physical abuse in the home. Then again, i don't always agree that if a woman has marks on her, it must automatically be the mans fault.
I've said it before,Ron is mentally ill.I dont say that to be mean,he obviously will not read this,he really is someone who needs medication to controll his compulsive/impulsive behaviour. The meds may take away his ability to play ball though because what makes him the aggressive, explosive player that he is ,is the same dynamic that makes him a loaded gun in his day to day life.Stay away from the guy until he is done with his career and then put him on meds or in a cage otherwise somebody is going to really get hurt.
LOCK HIM UP. THROW AWAY THE KEY.
Artest should be flushed down the toilet. You can't polish a turd.
Why don't white athlete's get in trouble. The law has to stop picking on the black athlete. Ron Artest and Packman Jones are just misunderstood. They really care about kids and society. :-)

THE ABOVE COMMENT IS JUST ANOTHER EXCUSE FOR THE BLACK ATHLETE. The media should stop bothering OJ Simpson. By the way, did he ever find the killer of his wife???????
