Li-Ning, a Chinese sportswear manufacturer, signed Cavs guard Damon Jones to a shoe contract last year. The only detail that's publicly known is that it's a two-year deal. It was the first time that a Chinese sportswear company signed an active NBA player.
Thanks to a True Hoop commenter who goes by the handle of AcieEarlDynasty, we now have footage of Jones' shoe commercial. It is, as you might expect, amazingly awful. Enjoy:

I dunno, that's a pretty badass Brett Meisner impersonation from Damon:

I love me some D. Jones, I thought the commercial was hot. Not as hot as the Brett Meisner vid though!

Pretty sweet, but it reminds me of Chauncey Billups commercial. He was in the gym and the wood floor "challenged" him. I just watched that one not too long ago on you tube! But nice commercial Dame!

Shane Battie has been pushing Chinese Peak sneakers for 6 months. I see his "I CAN PLAY" commericial about 50 times a week here in Shanghai. But I've never seen Damon Jones....ever. Apparently Jones was signed 1st and wears the "FeiJia" (which has no meaning, but "fei" means "flying") shoes.
