Maybe we'd all be better off if Gilbert would just shut his pie hole. Last night in Portland, Arenas did his prediction thing but had a sub-par night and missed a floater at the buzzer in the Wizards' loss to the Blazers. Tonight, no predictions, and Gilbert was cash money, scoring 42 and banking home a tough game-winner at the buzzer to take down the Sonics.
I know the Wizards are missing Caron Butler, but it's still not a good sign that they're struggling against teams who are out of the playoffs in the West, and who are missing key players. Zach Randolph missed last night's game, and with Allen out tonight, it still took Gilbert's heroics to get it done as time expired. The next two on this roadie are at Golden State and the Clippers, neither of which will be easy the way the Wizards are playing right now.
