Morris Peterson Thanks Michael Ruffin's Weak Arms

I think Eddie Jordan still doesn't believe it either, Chuck Swirsky.

Here's the setup (in case the above wasn't enough): Toronto down three with under four seconds to go in regulation, they throw in a full court pass that was broken up by Washington's Michael Ruffin, where he does what 89.7% of players do when they're ahead -- throw it in the air (like you just don't care).

Sadly, Ruffin didn't throw it high (or far) enough and Mo Pete, having quite the reputation for wild and crazy shots, was able to catch AND hit the prayer. The Dinos end up winning the game in overtime and holding on to their 3rd place in the Eastern standings as well as taking the 3-1 advantage in the season series against the Wizards.

The funny thing is that Peterson hadn't checked in for the entire game up to that last moment (and he didn't play in OT either). Not bad for a night at the office: play for 3 seconds, save the day.

What a week for unbelievable shots huh?
