Best Top 10 Plays This Season: Gilbert or Kobe?

Over at NBA.com they've put together some great highlight packages from this season, and here we have their Top 10 Plays for Kobe Bryant and Gilbert Arenas. Let's check out Gilbert first.

What I like abut this is that they started with Gil going to the basket, then bombing away from long range, and finally ending with his three game-winners this season. Gilbert may not have the hops of someone like Kobe, but he does have a quick first step, a nice crossover, and knows how to finish once he gets in the lane. I almost like the gane winner over Seattle as the top play, just based on the fact that he placed his jersey on the floor afterwards.

Now let's see what Kobe's top 10 plays look like, after the jump (trust me, it's worth it).

That was some ridiculous stuff, and the only thing I would change is the order of these highlights. That shot from the corner against Portland as number seven? Please, that's easily top two material. What I found interesting though is that I was most floored by the block on Deron Williams. As sick of an offensive player as Kobe is, it's ironic that one of his best highlights of the season came at the defensive end.

So whose was better? Gilbert's multiple game-winners are strong, as as his versatility in scoring inside or outside. But since Kobe's highlights include passes, blocked shots, and acrobatic moves around the rim, I think it's safe to give him the edge.
