Britney Loves Kobe

BRITNEY SPEARS was wearing a Kobe Bryant jersey the other night as a dress for a Lakers game along with two friends, who were wearing Chris Mihm and Luke Walton jerseys. I wonder where you can find a Mihm jersey these days?

At one point during the game, Spears and her two pals held up a sign that read: "We love you, Kobe, Chris and Luke."

I'm developing more and more things in common with Britney Spears all the time. We both own Kobe Bryant jerseys, and we both, for various reasons, dislike Kevin Federline.

Anyway, while this may just be an innocent crush (though I don't know that the term 'innocent' can every apply to anything Britney Spears does ever again) that Britney has on Kobe, you know who the real victim is here? Vanessa Bryant. This has to make her massively uncomfortable, for a number of reasons.

1) Britney Spears is a ... is it okay to use the term "slutbag" here? No? Well, my point is that I don't think Britney's above acting on any lustful impulses she has for Kobe Bryant.

2) There is evidence (literally, actual evidence) showing that Kobe Bryant enjoys the company (ahem) of white women.

There should probably a long talk about this had in the Bryant household, and I wouldn't blame Vanessa if she called up Jackie Christie for advice.

It's not all bad news for Kobe, though ... the upside here for Kobe is that "consensual," I'm fairly confident, would not be an issue with Britney. In a legal sense, I think absolutely anything could happen with Britney Spears, and in front of a jury, he'd be just fine.

The bigger news is that there are actually Chris Mihm jerseys. Chris Mihm's parents wouldn't even be caught wearing one. But I totally agree with them on Luke. Very dreamy.

I can't speak of the Jane Hoe in Colorado,but if Kobe is stupid enough to trade Vanessa in for Brittany than Phil will tade Jeanie in For Ashley Simpson.

Max - Come on, that's not fair. It's not like I was, "Ha ha, someone was raped." If anything, it was a shot at Kobe, and (if a rape did actually occur), we can't make fun of the (accused) rapist? No one can make fun of OJ, because a murder occurred? No one can call Osama names because an act of terrorism occurred? Cut me a little slack, please.

MJD, you're a complete idiot! How do you jump from simply wearing a Kobe jersey to her having a crush on him that his wife better worry about it? Can't she just be a fan of his? You've got a jersey too. Sounds like you've got a man-crush on him that his wife needs to worry about! After all, he does spend alot of time naked in a locker room with other men. Maybe you're just his kind of guy! If all it takes is the wearing of a jersey for you to connect the dots, your criteria is pretty low. I've got no love for Ms Spears but clearly you have some sort of issue with her. Jealous of K-Fed is my guess. And believe me, Vanessa is no victim!

I write for a living. I know what a joke is. ANYTHING connected with a rape charge is not a joke. ANYONE who attempts to find humor in a rape charge is an idiot, at best.
And anyone who uses mjdoggydog as a pseudonym is a few cards short of a full deck.

Picking on Britney doesn't take a lot of intelligence and she has herself to thank for that. What this column did was nothing more than piling on. If this is the best a blogger can come up with, I ask you to tell me who the REAL loser is.

Now then, go buy yourself a Federline CD and shut the hell up!

Ray, you've got to be kidding me. Joking about taboo subjects is often the only way to get people talking about the subject. Somehow I doubt that was MJD's intention, but who exactly is he hurting?
