Because sometimes, that's the only language that works... (3x2)+(3x2)=? New Jersey beat Washington 120-114, as well they should have. That it took them overtime to topple an Arenas-less, Butler-less Wizards is kind of sad. But with Kidd and Carter both registering triple-doubles on the night, it became a historic night. They were the first teammates to log them in the same game since Jordan and Pippen in 1989, which is pretty rare company to be in.
43 points, 1 three. That dude Eddy Curry can really, really produce sometimes. Against Milwaukee, he put up a career-high 43 points, including a rare three to bring on OT. He also added 13 rebounds and a pair of steals. The Knicks won the thing 118-113, but the real story was Curry coming through in truly dominant fashion.
20-3. That's the Spurs' record since the break, which is fairly ridiculous. They knocked off the Warrior 112-99, which I suppose bodes ill for the Warriors' last-ditch playoff aspirations. Duncan led the way with 28 and 15, and Golden State put up its usual bundles of numbers.
28. Last week, we filled you in on Rashard Lewis's push for notoriety. You know what'll do that quick? Hitting up Utah for 28 in the second half, rallying your miserable team from a 22-point deficit, and ending up with 35 in a victory against one of the conference's finest. Utah's been a mess lately, and it's not like they can afford to be. They're hanging onto the fourth seed by a sliver. Or maybe they're just not that worried about banged-up Houston surpassing them.

Carter and Kidd's triple double was such a rare feat, probably the most amazing feat in decades since Jordan and Pippen. Kobe fan's can suck it!
