Wait, wait, wait...

Someone must stand. Hornets over Clippers, 103-100 in OT. That throws NOOCH right back into the playoff race, and pretty much means that the eighth spot will come down to the last day of the season. David West led the Hornets with 33, while Elton Brand had 37 for Los Angeles. Not sure why, but of all the teams fighting it out for that eighth seed, the Hornets are the most convincing. They have had enough injuries that really, you could say they've been underachieving.

The Knicks like fighting. What was billed as the Eddy Curry Reunion Game wasn't much of a contest. The Bulls showed they can do without the maddening center, scuffing up the Knicks 98-69. Ben Gordon had 23, Nate Robinson put up 23 for the losers. After the bloodshed died down, though, there were some words exchanged between Tyrus Thomas and (deep breath) Nate Robinson, Jerome James and Steve Francis. James had to be restrained, no word yet if this was Isiah's way of motivating the team for next season.

Congratulations, Brad Miller. I guess it's notable that the Wizards clinched their playoff spot, or that Dwyane Wade may be rested but looks nothing like himself. Instead, I'd like to salue Sacramento's Brad Miller, who has had a crapy, disappointing season for a crappy, disappointing team. Miller notched a triple-double last night, with 17 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds. Way to go, Brad.
