When talking about Warrior hotheads, Jason Richardson isn't the first name that comes to mind. But there are some accusations flying around that J-Rich got physical with a fan in Dallas last night.
He had taken a three-pointer from the left corner with 21.9 seconds left, and Dallas forward Dirk Nowitzki, contesting the attempt, collided with Richardson, sending him flying into the first row of fans.Beyond the Nelson-Cuban feud, there seems to be tons of bad blood between these two franchises. The mild-mannered Richardson is not someone you'd expect would get wrapped up in extracurricular activity. But who knows? This series has driven everyone mad.
Some in the Dallas organization were saying the fan helped Richardson up, and Richardson responded by shoving and cursing at the fan. Richardson denied the situation happened that way but declined to otherwise comment, except to say, "Check the tape."
According to the Mavericks, there was no videotape of the incident.

That was a HUGE missed call as well - would have put Golden State up by two if I remember correctly. Right after that is when Davis got called for a cheap sixth foul.

cry me a river, I don't want to hear about no missed calls...make your missed free throws and reduce your turnovers but i guess the refs play a part in that to

I'm not a fan of either team, so no tears from me.
He did get fouled on that play, though. Maybe the refs were rewarding Cuban for all his river crying after last year's Finals?

Regardless of the call, The refs are the only ones who are responsible. Their were plenty of missed calls for both teams. Its just that the more obvious fouls for people who are not reffing these games only happen it seems at the end of the game with only seconds remaining. The team that should have won last nights game has. The fate of this round will happen in the next couple of days, so lets all just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Well, Golden State has enjoyed getting more important fouls, usually those that involve continuation throughout the series. Also Harris got ran over by Biedrich with no whistle. Now I'm not necessarily saying that it was a charge, but there was a foul there, on someone. With that said the Refs have been consistently bad especially in giving fouls for the Warriors. Example, Baron Davis grabs Terry's waist, Terry tries to get away, and then Davis falls to the ground whining. Baron Davis isn't that great of an actor but he sold the ref, bias?

That was a foul on the play andGolden State should have won that game. There was no physicalness with a fan.

They call me one eye jack: all the refs do a good job, they cannot see all the fouls, they only have two eyes, so give them credit for doing a good job on the fast pace they are going, all those other eyes see what they want to see, even if they know the ref is right.

Well, probably because he didn't flip him out of bounds, if anything he flipped him in bounds. Why wasn't Davis ejected for purposely sticking his arm out and tripping Harris? Was it because he knew he wasn't fast enough to stay with him? Whatever the case that wasn't a play at the ball. Now the Terry Davis situation had to be called, because the refs weren't paying attention until they saw Davis on the ground. They obviously didn't see Davis grab Terry, or the very best situation for Warrior fans would've been double fouls.

Truthfully, what opposing fans ACTUALLY helps a player up? Exactly.

Looks like the Warriors fans whine as much as their players. In regards to Jason Richardson, when first asked right after the game about the incident he blatantly called the fan a liar. He has since changed his story and admits to some altercation. The NBA set precedent last year when they suspended an inactive Dallas player for going into the stands with Mark Cuban to see if Avery's wife was ok. No altercation and no contact with any fan. He was inactive, in a suit, and with the owner. That netted him a 6 game suspension. Hopefully, the NBA will follow suit and impose a similar, if not more harsh punishment. I would also like to believe that they will follow through with their warning to Stephen Jackson after his ejection in Game 2. As far as the officiating is concerned... Baron Davis really isn't that great of an actor and his faking isn't all that believable, but the officials seem to believe him. Even Jackson was laughing at the calls that Davis was getting from his poor acting... and yes, you can check the tape on that too. Take a look right after he falls down in front of Devin Harris and Harris got called for the foul and before a stationary Harris gets mowed over at midcourt with no call. The Terry technical is unbelievable. Watch that one again in slow motion and tell me what Davis was doing. He walked towards Terry, put his head down and was pushing him aside. Terry simply held the force that was trying to knock him over and once his balance was regained, carefully jumped over. The Davis act on the floor was not very convincing. He went from an "oh woe is me" look when talking to Nellie, to a smile as soon as Nellie turned away. I hope the NBA throws the book at them. I do think it's a nice attempt by Nellie to try to get leniency from the NBA by looking proactive in fining Jackson.

Even as a Suns fan this has been the best series I've seen in a long time. Watching the Warriors makes we wanna buy a satelite dish, Everyones suprised Dallas is down 3-1, now 3-2...Nobody points how good Stephen Jackson is.. how he contributed on first place and championship teams..all they wanna talk about is how he shot a gun in the air or when his next court date is..Everyone slept on Baron Davis too. If he plays 82 games a year theres no doubt the team he's on is winning 50 games

Get a grip. Any similariy between the playoffs and basketball is a coincidence. The calls are noit mde consistently. There appears to be no general rule which all referees follow. Each team gets good and bad calls. Play the game babies.

He admits to pushing the fan. He has to be suspended.
Read the story up at Yahoo sports.

What team and league sources were told, according to two high-ranking league officials, was that Richardson said, "Push me again, (expletive), and I'll beat your ass." NBA security's Dwayne Bishop was on the telephone with the fan late Tuesday night in the arena dining room, apparently reaching the man after he had talked to Mavericks security. At the least, Richardson probably bought himself a fine.
"I can't remember (what he said) in the heat of the moment," Richardson said of the fan. "All I know is that I pushed him back, trying to see who he was. But it's over."

Devan George assaulted Pietrus, Terry, whom cracked a player in the gnads last year, put a WWF move on Davis, Howard grabs the rim and the net and illegally knocks away Warrior shots, but NO Calls!!! Then , Jackson gets thrown out of the game as he clapped his hands. he didn't stare down the ref, he didn't get a warning, and Jason Richardson, gets fouled bt Dirk, no call, JR falls into the crowd and as he attempts to extricate himself from them , he gets held, gets frutrated and now Dallas fans want revenge on Richardson?
You guys are inspired whiners, led by Mark Cuban.

is a compplement. And seconly, if a player lands wrong, or lands on an opposing teams fan, they would help the player get up, I mean wouldn't you? Or are you not a good person?
