Because of the Jazz, Barkley Will Miss the Big Fight This Weekend

A Seventh game VS what could be a 30 second joke. hummmmmmmmmmmm? I'll take the basketball game anytime.
As far as Barkley is concerned he has two choices either shut up and do his job or quit and go be with the "important people" that lauhg at him behind his back. Personally I'd just as soon see him quit. Who would miss him anyway?

I feel Charles pain I now can't watch the series end and will have to find out on Sunday,because I'm missing one second of the fight even for a game 7, it's gonna be the last big fight for a while. Plus I have to take SATs damn colleges

since Kevin doesnt have cable and doesnt enjoy watching 2 grown men beat the shit out of each other over the wknd i hope he has a good time in the toy dept at target where he obviously works and a quiet evening at home watching greys anatomy

Charles Barkley is the best...Its the reason why I watch TNT to get the real perspective you know honest
comments about players teams etc....we need more analyst like him. he speaks the truth and for people who are angry and upset, like they say the truth hurts! If barkleys comments bother you watch sesamee street. real fans love him.....

say what he or she feels without worry of backlash
when its the truth it defines character. Its great to
hear him call players who deserve to be called bums
bums..some of these guys cant even make a foul shot if there mother's life depended on it yet they make

I'll have to agree with Wolf Dog and Charles, Barkley speaks his mind and as long as it is not vulger or racial...he should say how he feels. I am a big basketball fan, more so than boxing. I don't plan to watch game 7 of two teams that have no chance of winning the championship. I'm sure Utah and Houston fans may feel differently, but that's not the point. He plans to work the event so it's not like he isn't "doing his job"; he just made a comment about how there were things he'd rather be doing/watching...I feel the same way at work almost every day.

Charles is hillarious and fun to watch on TNT. If it weren't for him, it would be just another mindless NBA analyst who thinks he knows more than anyone. Charles has every right to express his comments about missing the BIGGEST FIGHT in the past 5 years.

Boxing hasn't had it's greatest moments in history, but it's still a sport. Far better than a insignificant game 7 of two teams that won't matter in the end. Golden State will make a mockery of the winner as they did with Dallas. One last point... ESPN will, obviously, show highlights all night over the game while they can only report (without footage) over the fight. I'd rather see the fight of the year between De La Hoya and Mayweather, Jr.

And if you do decide to watch the game, you might be smart enough to watch the rebroadcast on HBO one week later.

*...Spurs will win the championship anyway...*

I can't stand Charles Barkley and question why he's even on the show. He can't articulate well, his comments make no sense, and he's irritating. If he wants to go to the fight, then resign from the show and go. Nobody's forcing him to be on the show. Nobody cares anyway about him--why does it always have to be about him? Just tell about the games; that's why we tune in.
