Playoff Revelations honors playoff players without big names, but who are having a big impact in the postseason. He has been, without a doubt, the most controversial player in these Playoffs. He has also been one of the key players in the postseason's greatest and most shocking series so far. Tonight, in game 6 of the historic Mavs/Warriors series, Stephen Jackson broke out offensively and led the Warriors to what has to be considered the greatest Playoff upset in NBA history.
Sure, Baron Davis will get all of the publicity for his inspiring performance (20 points, 10 boards, 6 assists) after having left game 6 early in the first half with a pulled hamstring. However, anyone who watched this game and followed the series closely will tell you that the Warriors could not have pulled off the stunning upset without the play of S-Jax. He set the tone early on in the series by not backing down from the MVP (???) Dirk Nowitzki, and going right at him on the offensive end. Following Jackson's and Baron's lead, the Warriors never looked back.
In the epic game 6, Jackson was unconscious from the land of beyond. He hit a career Playoff high seven threes and ended up with 33 points. He also snatched 5 boards and handed out 3 assists. For a guy who has had his name and reputation dragged through the mud (by everyone from the media, fans, and even the refs) since The Brawl in Detroit, it's great to see him emerge a hero on the League's biggest stage.

He was "unconscious" from downtown? That's one damn tough mental state to hit a shot from. I think you mean he was "conscienceless". I know this is a blog, but c'mon, you didn't even spell the wrong word (unconscious) right.

Man was that fun watching Steve Nash win the MVP again tonight without even touching a ball. Dirk have a nice summer. Cuban is going to have nightmares forever thinking about what a stupid move letting Nash go was more than ever now. Nellie congrats. The Mavs will go down in history as one of the bigger choker teams after last year and now this. Go Steve, Go Suns.

Please Cuban sell the Mavs, your not helping them anymore. You are a huge distraction now, you put extra pressure on the team, coach, refs and all that translates into you being a rich moron. Why cant you sit in the skybox and let everybody else do their jobs. Dont get me wrong, Cuban did great things for this franchise but now he just hurts them. He has not grown up, and become a responsible, respectable owner. His antics have really been hurting the mavs the last couple of seasons. Now i am a huge mavs fan and have been for about the last 7 or 8 season, but if Cuban does not sell the team, im selling out because they can not reach there potentail with Cuban on the sidelines.

un·con·scious (ŭn-kŏn'shəs) pronunciation
adj.
1. Lacking awareness and the capacity for sensory perception; not conscious.
2. Temporarily lacking consciousness.
3. Occurring in the absence of conscious awareness or thought: unconscious resentment; unconscious fears.
4. Without conscious control; involuntary or unintended: an unconscious mannerism.
n.
I suggest you quit basketball if you don't think "unconscious" describes S-Jax's performance last night. He just found the ball in his hand and reflexively heaved it at, and through, the basket.
