Yao Ming helps out his pal by shouldering the massive blame (as well as shouldering some tears) McGrady put on himself at the beginning of the series:
"I feel like I want to cry," Yao said. "I know everyone says that tomorrow is a new day and that I'll have a long career, but in the last two weeks we've gone from up 2-0 all the way to 3-4, and it's all over for our season. That's very frustrating."We hear ya big fella. All I can say is, chin up, next year is a whole new ball game.
"I didn't do my job," Yao said. "I didn't do a very good job of rebounding. Rebound, rebound, rebound. Whatever, long rebound, short rebound - it's my job to rebound. You can't say because it's a long rebound that I couldn't get it. I have to get it. I didn't do my job."

If I'm not mistaken, this was the 3rd time where a Tmac led team were up by 2 games in a playoff series and lost. All of them in the first round.

It's sad to see T-Mac almost cry. He had one hell of a game and did give it his all. Why the hell didn't they foul?
T-mac is the bomb and doesnt need to switch teams... the rockets just need to make a move in the offseason and get another playmaker to be by his side
T-mac rocks and needs to stay with the rockets.. but the rockets need to make a move in the offseason to get another playmaker for yao to be able to make his shots and get rebounds t-mac can do his thing and then someone else like KEVIN GARNETT can help them out
mcgrady didn't choke this year. his team did. guys like luther head and battier were brickign 3's all over the place in the last few games.

I THINK THAT THE ROCKETS DID A GREAT JOB THIS YEAR ESPECIALLY LOOKING AT ALL THE ADVERSATIES THEY HAD. T MAC BEING OUT FOR A WHILE AND THEN YAO BEING OUT FOR A WHILE. SOME TEAMS PROBABLY WOULDN'VE MADE IT TO THE PLAYOFFS IF THAT HAPPENED TO THEIR TEAM. T MAC DID AN AWESOME JOB GETTING THEM THERE, BUT THIS IS NOT A ONE PERSON GAME. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR ONE MAN TO DO IT ALL HIMSELF. HE IS HUMAN HE GETS TIRED TOO! NAME ME ONE NBA PLAYER WHO GAME IS ALWAYS ON. WHO HAS ATLEAST 30-35 POINTS IN EVERY GAME. NOBODY. SO WHY SHOULD WE EXPECT T MAC TO. I THINK THAT EVERYONE ON THE TEAM HAD A PART IN NOT GETTING THE JOB DONE. I THINK THAT ALL COULD'VE DONE BETTER, BECAUSE THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT. MY THING WAS THE OUTSIDE SHOOTING, THEY DID ALOT OF THAT INSTEAD OF ATTACKING THE BASKET AND DRAWING FOULS. I ALSO THINK THAT SOME PLAYERS LIKE LUTHER HEAD IS A GREAT PLAYER BUT LOST CONFIDENCE IN IS SHOOTING. BUT HEY THERE IS ALWAYS NEXT YEAR, AND I THINK THAT WE NEED MORE THAN TWO OR THREE PPL COMING OFF THE BENCH TO SCORE. IF WE ARE NOT USING THE PLAYERS WE HAVE TRADE THEM.
Man, I felt really bad when I saw this press conference. I am a huge T-Mac fan, I am a huge Houston Rockets fan. We had a great year I really hoped the Rockets would have made it to the second round for T-Mac's sake. I think Tracy deserve more than just to get out of the 1st round, I beleive when he does it's going to be a run for the NBA championship. With Yao and Tracy the Rockets have a huge chance. There is always next year, I feel like T-mac and Yao has something to prove next year. Hopefully Jeff Van Gundy will return I think he is an awesome coach, but if he doesn't get Rudy T out of retirement. This off season I think the Rockets needto add a third scorer and somebody with an attitude. Rockets keep your head up, the fans are still behind you.
T-MAC IS THE greatest. hes the best player in the leuge and the most talented. But even the best cant do it by themselves. (t-mac almost did) But they still need their players to step up or get new ones. T-mac tried, i think he can play even better than that series(he played great but.. he can be even beter), because he passed too much wen he should of shot. If he plays his very very very best and scores like he did before, no one can stop him. (no team either)
