Golden State has been the best story so far in these playoffs, but that story appears to be coming to an end with the team now facing a 3-1 deficit after last night's home loss. The Warriors are a great and fun team to watch when things are going their way, but when they lose, they turn into a bunch of [jerks]. Check out these highlights towards the end of Game 4, and watch the Warriors get violent after they realize that the game's over and they're going home with the loss.
Playoff poster boy Derek Fisher was killing the Dubs in the fourth quarter, and with about 1:30 left and the Jazz up by 9, Baron Davis throws a vicious elbow to Fisher's head for no apparent reason. Then with just over 30 seconds left and the Jazz up 12, Okur goes in for a dunk, and Jason Richardson takes him down by slamming him to the floor.
Normally I'd say that Okur got what he deserved, and that the Jazz shouldn't be trying to dunk with the game in hand and such little time left. But remember Baron Davis' dunk on Kirilenko? The Warriors were up 20 with under three minutes left when Baron threw that one down, so I think Okur was justified in trying to similarly punctuate Utah's win.
Remember that in the Warriors' two losses to Dallas, Baron Davis got ejected in one of the games, and Stephen Jackson got himself kicked out of both. The Warriors run has been great this post-season, but with their players acting like this when they lose, I'll be happy to see them eliminated on Tuesday.

All I can tell you is this... George patton never would have let a Turk dunk in his face like that... and if that's reason enough for George Patton to assault someone, it's good enough for me.

At least we won't have to listen to any more of those cheeseball stories about how much Baron worships his 216-year-old grandmother.

Nothing wrong with a hard foul in the playoffs when the opposing team is trying to embarrass you on your home court.
Everyone is getting on the Suns because they are too soft and now you want to pile on the GSW because they are too rough when they lose?
Gimme a break! Bloggers suck!

Your question is a bit bizzare Mohamed.
Two years ago we were hoping that Mike Dunleavy Jr's much hailed Basketball IQ could figure out how to hit an open jumper and not dissapear when we needed him. We were watching a whole bunch of teams besides ours in the playoffs while getting hyped up about another season of hope and wondering how our new kids would pan out.
I was very bummed that Baron hit Fisher like that, that was a very immature way to take out his frustration. Baron and Fisher talked about it afterwards and things appear to be all good with them. As for the Warriors being trashy players, whatever. When a massive, physically bullying team like the Jazz has fans complaining about strong fouls and physical plays it rings quite self righteous. Go ahead and hate us and hate the Warriors, we're happy to be the misfits of the NBA.

I have no hate for any team, I just hate to see fan excited for trashy player, Basketball is just game. I nevere hated Huston when they played with Utah Jazz, they were classy, they never tried to hurt any body, the only take on Huston for Mcgrady was that he talks about him self and he forgot that they are a team not one or two persons, othe than I really big fan of Yao Ming for what he is, he is the most classy player I have ever seen.
I hope you got my point, it's not about certain team, it's about how they act, and I hope you noticed that in the last game of the series that the cheap shots continued.
