Rasheed Wallace Was Throwing Things on Tuesday

Needless to say, if you didn't watch last night's Pistons-Cavs tilt and somehow managed to avoid picking up a paper or stopping by a sports site until now, that video above tells you all you need to know. The Cavs took it to the Pistons for the second game in a row, tying up the series at 2-2. (On a sidenote, I'm pretty sure that's bench-warmer Ronald Dupree (it's actually Will Blalock) who "caught" Rasheed's jersey. Sadly for him, it's probably the closest he got to breaking a sweat during these playoffs.)

In the past, the Pistons' experience/moxie/whatever you want to call it would have been enough to will them to victory in a close game, but this time around it looked like the roles were reversed, with the Pistons being the team playing this deep into the playoffs for the first time in 15 years instead of the Cavs.

Throwing bits of clothing was unfortunately a common event for Rasheed on Tuesday: he picked up a technical foul of the postseason by throwing his headband toward Detroit's bench late in the fourth. Flip Saunders called it a "terrible call" since Rasheed was upset at the play of his team and not the referees, but rules are rules, and it's impossible to ask the officials to correctly assign motivation on every infraction.

It was his fifth technical of the season, and it's worth mention that if he draws two more, he'll earn a one-game suspension. Needless to say, a suspension would be devastating: the earliest it could happen would be Game 6, which will be an elimination game of some sorts (Game 5 will determine which team is on the ropes) or the NBA Finals (assuming the Pistons make it that far).
