Bill Simmons trading picks and barbs. And seriously, Ford is
murdering The Sports Guy. A sampling of Ford's comments following Simmons' plan for the Celtics:
You've lost it, haven't you? [...] The Celtics become a seventh or eighth seed in the East under your plan. Congrats. [...] They say one man's trash is another man's treasure. In this case, your trash is ... trash. [...] You're destroying the team you love Bill. Don't do it.
It's like Sean Salisbury and John Clayton, only with the geek fighting back and without the subliminal homoeroticism.

"Yi looked great against the chair. You're boy in last year's draft, Adam Morrison, could've been guarded by the chair this year."

Simmons is such a douche. One thing has been killing me and this seems as good a place as any to bring it up...does all this "best (...) in 10 years" and "biggest lock since Jordan" and "no question this guy will be a Hall of Famer" seem a little overblown in discussing these guys?!?!? I mean do these mainstream sport guys have ZERO shame now and feel they can say whatever the hell they want and not have their feet held to fire about it.
I love Kevin Durant...I live in San Antonio and actually saw every one of his games but two last year, AND I could not guarantee that this guy is going to be as good as everyone says. How many times has Simmons seen this guys play I wonder.
Anyway...Simmons is a douchebag.
