There were many highlights from the Lakers' Christmas Day victory over the Suns, but none more ridiculous than this dunk in transition from Trevor Ariza. Grant Hill is the unfortunate victim here, as Ariza goes way up and over him for the monster jam -- and the foul -- prompting Kobe to remind Ariza that he still has to make that free throw.
Ariza yanked on the foul shot, but the Lakers showed for the second time this season that they have no problem playing with the Suns. Between Andrew Bynum's career high 28 points and the Lakers' combined 52% shooting, the Suns are the ones that will be worrying about meeting up with the Lakers in the playoffs if the two teams continue down their respective paths.

1. Suns own the Lakers in the playoffs.
2. The season is still young.
3. Don't get ahead of yourselves.

"Hey DM, what's that sound?"
It's the front door closing on the Suns and Nash's career.
"Hey DM, what's that smell?"
It's called 'Team Spirit,' it's very fashionable in Los Angeles these days.
Read the stat's on Bynum and Kobe. Inside-out game, scoring, rebounds, up-and-down the court, young legs, badda-bing badda-bang. It's a beautiful thing, don't ya think?
It's 75 degrees in LA, and we got'sa a winning team, what up with y'all?

Ariza is another young, athletic, defensive talent stupidly traded away for the overpriced, injured, Steve Francis by the great Isiah Thomas.
He is young, talented and inexpensive, just what the NY Knicks, Thomas and Dolan do now want.
At least ex Knick and champion Phil Jackson will develope his potential and make him a player not a loser!

So we all agree, Mitch Kupchak is a genius, heir apparent to Jerry West, and the man who built the new Laker dynasty, Kobe, Bynum, Turiaf, Fisher, Farmar, and Ariza, among others. Can't wait until June.
