If you are Adam Morrison, the agent of Adam Morrison, or a fan of Adam Morrison, this Associated Press-culled quote from Larry Brown's first morning in Charlotte bodes poorly."I saw Sean (May) when I walked in and Matt (Carroll)," Brown said. "And the kid with the long hair, I didn't know his name. He wasn't dressed like a basketball player."He can pick out Matt "The Hammer" Carroll ... but not the 2006 #3 pick, who happens to have a rather unforgettable mug?
All the other youngsters on the roster -- Emeka Okafor, Raymond Felton, May -- have got to feel like a weight's been lifted off their shoulders: Day 1 and Ammo's already the goat. (It makes perfect sense too, considering Ammo lacks defensive acumen and does not quite fit in the "right way" offensive schema.) Morrison'll be on the trade block by Columbus Day.

The guy missed a whole season with an injury.
It's not his fault.
You Media Types are so screwed up.
Remember when Jordan missed almost all of his rookie year.
Remember when Shaq missed half the season when Zo tore his hand off.
What is the guy supposed to do to make you happy? Play on Crutches or something?
Not that he's in those guys class or anything, but give him a break and give him a chance to prove himself before you lynch him.

Says way more about Brown, then about Morrison. And what it says about Brown isn't much.

They both have something to prove. But to act like he doesn't know who Morrison is doesn't make any sense.

If Adam Morrison leaves Charlotte for another team make sure he doesn't come back to haunt your team.

Phoenix will have a new coach next season.
They will also have a new spot up weak side forward - Adam Morrison.
Morrison will be traded by Brown to get an experienced player so he can show an improved record fast (it won't work but that is what he will do anyway).
Morrison will end up in the West where 3 point hot shooters can always find a spot.
Lok at all the East Division players that went over near the end of the year.
So - Adam Morrison gets traded to Phoenix or Golden State or Seattle (Ok. State) - the best bet is Phoenix where the need youth, outside shooting and a low salary to make room for Shaq, Nash and Stoudemire.
Morrison will then get the visisbility offered by the large Phoenix market along with the texas trio, seattle (his home but unfortunately soon to be Ok. City) Portland (he is a northwest US legend) Las Angeles etc....and is stock will rise.
Meanwhile back in podunk Charlotte Brown will not even get the Bobcats to a 500 record.
