There is nothing more exciting in sports than a Game 7. Expect perhaps finding out that both Mike Brown and Doc Rviers have been kidnapped before this game and that there will actually be some offense. Since that is unlikely to happen -- and certainly not endorsed to happen by anyone here -- we'll have to settle for seeing whether LeBron James can have his best game of this series on the biggest stage.
He has slowly been stepping his game up after abysmal Games one and two, possibly in the pretense of going off during the Eastern Conference Finals and trudging the Cavs back into the Finals. But first things first -- the Celtics are staring at most scrutiny they have faced in years, without a road playoff win and with another Game 7 against a team they should have closed out already, if they were anything like the Boston team of the regular season.

The Refs were intimidated by the fans and Doc complaining all the time;
Detroit has to beat Boston in the 1st game and they will;

Boston is not only a boring team but the closer is a 60 year old PJ brown that wants to play 10 more years ala Robert Horry.

Let it go. Boston won fair and square. But they will have Hell on their hands when they play a rested Detroit.
I expect to see a Finals rematch.

As a Celtic fan on the West Coast, it is obvious that the Celtics cannot beat the Hornets, Spurs or Lakers, maybe not even the Jazz. The Celtic offense is as creative as a brick. For nostalgia, Celtic-Lakers would be great BUT the end result will be embarrassing. Please Detroit, end this torture.

I was a bit disapointed today after watching the game although I knew it was going to take a 40 point plus game from Lebron in order to prevail. Although it was nice to see him have a great game and keep it so close, but it dosen't matter how much points you put up if you don't come out with the victory. If Z and Wally could have stay consistant as they been, I think the Cavs would now be playing Detroit. I do feel Boston played great defense and if it wasn't for Paul Pierce stepping up, Boston wouldn't have a chance.

Boston vs. Detroit in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. It should be a heck of a series if you like defenses ruling the court.

wow. Aside from the astute observation about the "ultimate" chicken sandwich (chicken. . . .and pickles. . .on a plain bun. . . .from McDonalds. . . .somehow not breathtaking) this is the LAMEST, NERDIEST blog I have ever read. Twenty bucks says one of these bloggers rubbed one out during the game (with the non-nacho-cheese-fuzz hand, natch)

What short memories we have. For all the hoopla that has gone on during these playoffs about "The King"being Jordanesque,The most profilic performance that I have ever seen was Wade's trampling of the Mavericks. He averaged 35 pts.for the finals. Beat that !!!!!
