It's nice to see an athlete, while blogging no less, reach deep down inside their inner announcer souls and come up with something so profound to describe the potential Lakers - Celtics matchup that Earth itself may have collectively gasped and paused in its rotation when the words were written. Greg Oden stopped the globe on a dime about three days ago at Yardbarker (emp. mine).
The teams are looking really good and I think that it will be Boston and Lakers in the championship. If that happens I think that would be really good on the league just to have that old rivalry back. With two good teams with so much history. I have no predictions on who will win it all, but I'll say the team who scores the most points has a really good chance. In totally unrelated news, Mark Jackson and Joe Morgan were seen angrily storming about Portland last week, screaming incoherent stuff about, "Can't fire us now ... stealing our 'thing'". Actually, I don't want to give Oden too much grief (Lord knows I don't want him to read my opinion and quit blogging) because his media output is like a 9.5 out of 10.0 on an entertainment scale.
Besides, Greg, you're just wrong. Everyone knows that "points" and "scoring" are overrated. It's who wants it more that matters.

You don't think even maybe for a second that Greg might have been joking when he said that? just maybe?
