Even with George Bush's job approval rating in the toilet these days, you would think that the office of President of the United States would still hold enough weight to score some choice tickets to see the USA basketball team take on China in the upcoming Olympics. It doesn't appear that way though, as President Bush came right out and asked Chinese President Hu Jintao to help him procure what are likely to be some of the toughest tickets in town for this summer's games."I'm really looking forward to watching the American Olympic team compete, particularly with the mighty Chinese team," he said after meeting Hu on the sidelines of the Group of Eight summit in Japan. "I'm hoping to get tickets for the U.S.-Chinese basketball game," Bush said. "If you can help me get a ticket I'd appreciate it," he joked. You can say a lot of things about President Bush, but I'm pretty sure that, unlike some American-born corporations, at least he'd be rooting for team USA.
