Will the Warriors keep Kelenna Azubuike? It doesn't look likely. They still have a couple of days before they have to announce if they're going to match the three-year, $9.3 million offer sheet Azubuike signed with the Clippers, but they've already replaced him on the roster with a slightly cheaper alternative, giving Maurice Evans a three-year, $6.4 million deal.At 29, Evans is five years older than Azubuike, but the two players posted remarkably similar numbers last year. Granted, Azubuike is far more likely to exceed his numbers as he continues to develop, but considering Stephen Jackson is around for at least two more years, Corey Maggette five and Anthony Randolph four, it's not like the Warriors would have been able to reward Azubuike with additional playing time either way.
The Warriors have made a series of small moves in the past week (including signing Ronny Turiaff and trading for Marcus Williams) to plug some holes, but two big questions still remain: restricted free agents Monta Ellis and Andris Biedrins. Everyone still assumes the W's will sign those two, but it's impossible to really judge how these smaller things fit into the big picture without knowing for sure that the foundation is sound and they'll be returning.

Not the best replacement in the world, but it makes you appreciate Orlando's foresight to sign Mikael Pietrus.
