Matt Geiger No Longer in Need of Helipad, Nor the $20 Million Estate It Comes With

The story that Matt Geiger's suing some holding company because it backed out of a deal to buy his $20 million Tampa estate has been kicked around the last few days. But everyone's missing the important question: has Geiger's helipad been built?!

Exactly a year ago, Geiger was in the news because of a row with his neighbors over his plans to build a helipad at the house. (We discussed it here.) The best part was Geiger's admission that he and his friends had landed 'copters at the estate for months already with no complaints. That was his complete argument to the local government: "I'm going to do it anyway."

Who knew Geiger was such a baller? He says he's looking for a smaller, more cozy place in which to raise his kids. But did anyone ask the children? I find it hard to believe they'll ever complain about pool tables, tennis courts, and a helipad. Also, maybe this thing has a Batcave? If so, Geiger needs to hit up Danny Granger.
