Gilbert Arenas is back, folks. Back with a rambling, ranting blog post. He wants everyone to know those photos from his pool propagated around the web show only a work in progress -- it's going to be much better (and will include a shark tank!), he says.He also touches on politics, which is to say he doesn't vote because he doesn't want to get roped into jury duty. (UGH!) Also, he doesn't like the electoral college system.
Obviously, our vote doesn't really mean anything. Then you have this thing called the delegate, then you got the super delegate and then you got the hidden delegate that nobody knows about. If you've never heard of the hidden delegate, that's like when you're buying a car and they say the taxes on the car are 20 percent, and then when you look at your statement, they charge you an extra three, that's the same thing. It's the hidden fee delegate that nobody knows about who has all this power. They actually get to pick who they want for president. So when I start looking at it like that, that's when I stop paying attention because at the end of the day, our votes really don't matter.Part of me wants to rail at Gil for defying P. Diddy's unassailable demands. The other part of me is still thinking about that shark tank.

When was the last time a "braggad" was celebrated like this? Not since Shaq is my guess. Somebody said his $111 Million contract is only worth $40M if you compensate for Inflation, agents fee and taxes, yet he is spending $1M on his pool? And can you Imagine the cost of feeding 3 sharks, plus the cost of cleaning the tank; this is just the cost of running his basement!
People are talking about inflation, lost of jobs, a mortgage crisis and this clueless man is here telling us about his current and future excesses. A fool and his money...they say when a mad man dances naked in the market, it is his relative who feel the shame and as a black man i feel the shame of Gilbert's thoughtless rantings.

I like a person who says what he thinks, regardless of the amount of contemplation invested in a particular statement.
I agree with him about the vote topic! This Country ought to be
electing a president that the people WANT! Why in all reasonable explanation do we not elect from popular votes?
It's just ridiculous.
And as far as his personal landscaping. You have the right to plant flowers around your house don't you?
You want to bicker about wealthy people, bicker about the ones who own companies and have untold millions and billions,
while their employees are wondering how they will send their children to school.
I like this fellow. And I don't even know him. He's got character,
and imagination. Not to mention ability and stamina!
