The best part about advertising is that there's a chance you'll see something you would never have thought you'd seen in a million years. Like squirrels talking, or a pirate who deals exclusively with cereal.
And then, on some rare occasions, the fates conspire and bring forth, directly to you, an ad that features Kobe Bryant lip-syncing to Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock 'N Roll." Joining him are Tony Hawk, Michael Phelps, and Alex Rodriguez. And now, we bring it to you, via Ball Don't Lie.
Thank you, Guitar Hero. Thank you. Enjoy your last Friday without the NBA, people!

Tony Hawk and his chicken legs totally own that commercial. He somehow managed to be completely stoic with a drum set strapped to him. LOL
I'm impressed that Kobe got the lead in that spot. NBA stars reduce all other pro athletes to a backing band, apparently; even a guy with 48 gold medals.
Just when I thought I couldn't hate Kobe more! Sorry, Kobe, but I'm not buying it. Your recent attempts at trying to convince the public that you're just a humble, regular kind of guy is ridiculous. Can't you quietly finish up your career and go away? Your team mates & NBA fans have had to look at your arrogant mug for far too long. UGH! (just had to get that off my chest :)
I love this ad. It's adorable. Kobe so rocks! They all do. :)
You know those nba commercials from espn or tnt where they travel on the bus? Apparently they aren't funny because I cant even remember who puts them out, Guitar Hero has managed to do in 1 commercial what that stupid series of bus commercials never has, make me louth out loud. For that matter just make me louth, Jaelyn lighten up, if you don't watch any Lakers game you won't have to see Kobe. Its not like he's your neighbor or relative.
The guy with all the gold medals isn't up front because he lacks charisma.
Plus the fact that he can't act, Ever see any of his commercials or him host SNL?
this is my fave commerical by far...kobe was sooo freakin funny and cute..
they are awesome in this ...
