Still, if I were the Lakers, I'd ask my young cornerstone to show a little more restraint. The timing could be worse, but it could also be better, just like when he popped up at a college party this past spring while nursing his bum knee and his teammates were in the playoffs.
And seriously, is he in a position to throw money away yet? He and the Lakers are light years away from agreeing on an extension, meaning he's still the ninth-highest-paid guy on the team.

The following are just my opinoins and observations.
#1- No way do you give this guy max contract, NO WAY!
#2- Phil is going to pepper this dude with negative comments all season long, and most probably rightfully so.
#3- If Bynum were ever caught in a men's room with George Michaels and there were a camera present the boy genius would no doubt smile big and wave into the camera.
#4- The lady for lack of a more accurate word reporter or the stripper with a microphone, holds the record for most times having the back of her throat swabbed for dna testing (allegedly).
#5- Theres a very, very, very good chance that somewhere close by off camera was Jerry Buss.
Here's hoping he had a designated driver for the Mercedes wagon.
