Comments by Michael Jordan about the desire for full ownership of the Bobcats are getting a lot of play, as well it should. Jordan's the boss in Charlotte right now, but Robert Johnson signs the checks. There's the idea that with a larger share of financial responsibility (and potential), MJ would be even more interested in the matters at hand. This isn't to say he's not involved; heck, he was in the building last night as Charlotte smacked the Hornets. An even better indication: in a talk with the Charlotte Observer's Scott Fowler, MJ tells the world what he's looking for on the trade market.
"We've got a lot of perimeter players that duplicate each other," Jordan said. "From Adam (Morrison) to Matt (Carroll) to Jared (Dudley). ... I think that's what Larry (Brown, the Bobcats' new coach) is trying to battle with. And we have no big presence in the middle other than Emeka [Okafor]."The acknowledgment Charlotte is looking for a trade coattails nicely with the breathless Friday reports that the Bobcats powers (MJ and Larry Brown) have agreed to find a new home for Gerald Wallace. While Wallace is probably Charlotte's best player, he also resides at the only position the team is loaded. Jared Dudley has become Brown's newest heartthrob; Morrison and Carroll also deserve looks, and Jason Richardson is an able small forward option, which could allow some dual Raymond Felton-D.J. Augustin stints in the backcourt.
Eddy Curry and Al Harrington have been advocated as options; if Joe Dumars isn't done shaking the bag, Rasheed Wallace seems like a good match. Shawn Marion? Brad Miller? Big men of varying quality exist, if MJ's willing to go get them.

Brad Miller? YES!!
Shawn Marion? Not so much.
Not to say Brad is a better player than Shawn,
That just isn't the case.
But, for this team, Brad's the better fit.

Kwame Brown is the worst big man in the Association. Bad footwork and hands of stone, He drops so many passes it's ridiculous.

Joe D just made a coin on a trade. He isn't going to trade for Wallace's huge (undeserved) contract. Not happening. Were having enough problems with the offence atm to add another offensive oriented player.

The cats really need a 4 and Miller, as capable a player as he is, isn't a 4. Okafor is just too slow to move outside of the paint and has few skills on offense. Miller would be a little redundant in that regard(the same is true for Brook Lopez).
I'd gladly give up GW for a quality 4 but who's available? Sheed doesn't make much sense unless they're looking to free up some money for free agency next summer. Harrington looks good but Golden State has less use for Wallace than charlotte does. You can say the same thing for Miami and Shawn Marion.

I just realized I implied that Brook Lopez has few skills on offense. I didn't mean that. I just meant that he wouldn't help the cats balance out their roster.

Brad Miller got mental problems, if somebody rubs him wrong his games goes out the window and getting even becomes his main objective. Rasheed Wallace a true mental case. Shawn Marion got skills but don't think he wants any parts of Bobcats. Jordan needs to get rid of alot of these roll players here and start with some quality skilled players. Portland has way to much talent and they are young. Batum is a good start out of Portland. Chris Bosh would be a great big man.
