Dang Cleveland, haven't you heard LeBron James will be a free agent in 2010? A citizenry in such danger should be littering The Chosen One's path with rose petals and cheering his missed free throws, sneezes, turnovers and bathroom breaks. LeBron is the soul and salvation of your town. Stop making him mad. What has upset King James, you ask? Brian Windhorst of the
Before the game some reporters were making small talk in the locker room and LeBron said he was still a little upset about being booed the other night when he dribbled the shot clock out in the last few seconds when the Cavs had 99 points against the Bucks. 100 would've meant free Chalupas, which really seems to fire up the crowd no matter what else is going on. Truth is Mike Brown told LeBron to dribble it out. [...]I have been a part of many Chalupa-begging crowds in my time. But in Sacramento and Oakland, I can't recall the home team being booed for dribbling the ball out ... because those home teams would never dribble the ball out with tacos on the line! Mike Brown, why do you hate Cleveland so much?
LeBron said "I can't believe people who buy season tickets get worked up over a g-- d--- $1 (blank) taco."
This isn't a matter of sportsman decorum. The visiting Bucks understand. I mean, honestly -- you think a team from Milwaukee doesn't understand the explosive mood shifts of a hungry fan base? Everyone's at fault here: LeBron should never get booed in his hometown (lest he, I don't know, murder a kitten) and Brown should not be so stingy with the Chalupas. Compromise, people.

I hate NBA crowds. The most cheering you will ever hear from them? When shirts are being shot into the stands, the stupid races on the big screen and the god damn 100 points for a free big mac, chalupa or whatever. If I was the coach and my team was up 99-50 with a quarter left to play I would have them dribble into shot clock violations every single possession.
Tell Lebron to go to brooklyn if he doesnt like the fans...enough of that egomaniac
I agree with you Jeff.
Ya Jeff, I'm sure that's what Cavs fans would prefer, free chalupas and Lebron playing for another city.
Without Lebron the Cavs would have to start giving away chalupas when the team gets to 85 points.
Sounds like Will Ferrell in Semi-Pro
Alright people, its just a chalupa...you'll probably get sick from eating it anyway..as far as LeBron gettin his panties in a bunch over a mostly drunk cleveland crowd, shut up and sit down. I hate LeBron's ego it is so annoying. Honestly with Gibson, West, Z, and Williams this team would do just fine without LeBron.
Go Cavs!
Uh... did you just say that the Cavs would be fine without LeBron James? Yeah, good luck with that. He was booed by his own fans for a $1 taco. If you can't see why that it is rude, then the problem is yours, not LeBron's.
anny is right. This is the fan's issue, not Lebron's. If you are that hard up for a greasy mystery-meat filled gut bomb then you might want to look in the cushions of your couch for 4 quarters. I am sure the $150 you spend for tickets, beer and $10 hot dogs makes you feel like your entitled to a free taco, but it's a freaking chalupa people, this is not a free porterhouse, it is a freaking chalupa.
Lebron scored 41 points in a W and you are booing him for NOT taking a shot that would show up the other team? Seriously?
WTF does this have to do with LeBron's ego!? lol. This has to do with how ungrateful the Cleveland crowd is. You got the win, shut up and stop acting like you couldn't dish out an extra dollar for a damn taco. Hell, you paid $30 to get tickets!
THIS IS FOR EVERYONE OUTSIDE OF CLEVELAND FROM A TRUE DIE HARD CLEVELAND FAN!
Lebron hasn't done ANYTHING yet ... The only thing he's done is embarrass us in the finals, show up to the Indians game in a Yankees hat, show up on the Browns sidelines wearing a NY hat, blasted the fans, talked about playing in Europe, etc...
LEBRON: Win a championship or GET OUT OF TOWN.
This isn't NY, LA, or Chicago...we want a championship and don't care one bit about YOU ... You can take your ego and money hungry butt to any of those cities or Europe for that matter....because if you don't win us a championship, we don't want you.
We survived without you...and lost plenty of playoff series before you got here...we have the Indians and Browns letting us down, the last thing we need is you disappointing us again.
As for the chalupas....We pay to watch and we're from Cleveland...the second poorest city in the nation. $1 may not be alot to you because you are paid a ridiculous amount of $, but it means something to the fans....
But why would we think you care about Cleveland fans now...you never have and you've made that evident your whole career.
Adios.
Cleavland fans are ridiculous. I can't believe you can honestly boo a player who basically won the game for you. If you guys aren't grateful to him. Don't boo him when he goes to the Magic or Detroit and comes home and puts on 63 points. 1$ taco wow. You should be happy, he saved you a meal, who is going to waste 20$ of gas and traffic to drive to a Taco bell and only get a dollar worth of food, my aswell save the gas money right. He may not have won you a championship but he has surely gotten you the closest you guys are going to get for a long time. Maybe you should boo the coaching staff that hasn't surrounded him with credible players. Funny how the Suns and the Rockets and Detroit all these teams can add franchise players yet, Cleavland hasn't made the slightest effort to add a player that looks like they started their HS basketball team. Irony at its best.
You know, you people are crazy. People are never happy, you have a winning team here in Cleveland, a tremendous basketball player that has brought Cleveland from almost fullblown obscurity these days, scores 41 points for OUR team, and you have the balls, and audacity to boo the man, for a lousy dollar taco. Hey, if you can afford NBA tickets, paying for parking, concessions, t-shirts, programs, etc., you can do without a frickin' lousy taco! Show some support to the man who just about single-handedly turned this whole team around and produced the CAVS into a Championship caliber team. GO LEBRON!! GO CAVS!!!
TMAD...if that's how the cavs' fan base thinks then you all can go to hell. The ONLY (I repeat. ONLY) reason you guys even SNIFFED the finals that year wasn't because anyone else but LeBron. The only reason your team even gets respect is because of him. Now you idiots complain about not gettin some high calorie snack because his coach told him to just hold the ball until the end of the game. Seriously, how long had it been since the Cavs were a halfway decent team before LeBron?? You guys are right up there with the Ohio State Buckeye fans as some of the worst in sports
Ya'll should be grateful that you have the most explosive player in the NBA on your team. You guys are NOTHING without him, so why drive him away? Yeah, booing him is a GREAT idea.
lol@ you thinking $1 is a ridiculous amount of money
Dude....
Fans around the country don't get it...
We don't care about being competitive...about having the "great" player...about getting publicity....
We are a football town and a town who hasn't seen a championship in over 50 years...
if Lebron brings us one, then for once we won't be the laughing stock of the nation.
He could break EVERY record in the books and win 10 MVP awards...but until (if he does) he wins this city a championship, he's worthless.
Sure..the city makes more money, and we're better off economically with him here...but that aside..as a fan..we NEED a title.
You think we'll be dissapointed if he leaves when really we won't...we're used to people and teams leaving (the Browns) and having success (Ravens, Belichick, Manny, Thome, etc.)...
what we want is someone who will win..not just get us there...WIN.
The last place team in the league finished the same way we did in 2007...without a champioship.
