Much was made -- naturally -- of LeBron James' appearance in New York last night. After all, in case you haven't heard, he's trying out for the Knicks, in the desperate hope that they will consider offering him a contract beginning in 2010. So, yeah, there were highlights. Pretty sick dunk at the end (they're labeled on the video by the Hoopdoctors) and a ridiculous block/toss to start things off.
So yeah, it wasn't that great of a game, but it's always a little fun to stir the controversial Cleveland kool-aid regarding the conspiracy to see the greatest athlete in the history of the state roll out to the Apple.

haha i love the title of your post.
Lebron is going to the NYK... we all know it.. just like in hockey we all know brian burke was going to end up in toronto. both sides love to deny it, but its true!! like i said... LA has Kobe.. NY needs Lebron.
NBA needs the Knicks to succeed. Remember how the NHL is taking over the NBA in their ratings... maybe because of the success of the big NHL market teams.. just a thoought http://jib-sports-culture.blogspot.com/2008/11/lebron-vi-big-apple-foreshadows-lebron.html
