NBA star Carmelo Anthony is one of the brightest young stars in the NBA, which may be why he was chosen by Nike to be the face of their "Jordan" brand shoe line. In this video we catch up with 'Melo and his wife La La Vazquez at a party in Hollywood where his new "Jordan Melo-5" shoe was unleashed. 'Melo tells us which NBA player has the most street cred, and what he thinks about the Nuggets' new point guard Chauncey Billups. We also hear from Chloe Kardashian, professional wrestler Michael 'The Miz' Mizanin, and actor Pooch Hill.Youtube link.

picking up where jordan left off? why because he gave you an interview? give me a break. carmelo is a great player, jordan was the best of his time, something i'm sorry to inform you carmelo will never be. i suppose when kobe has his own line and lebron has his own line you keep reaching down the line until you find someone you can put a brand on. Jordan= 5 time MVP, 6 time finals MVP, 10 time all nba first team, 9 time all defensive first team, 6 nba championships, 10 scoring titles, and i am going to stop cause i'm tired. what exactly has melo done to pick up where he left off? the only thing i have not considered is if you are referring to melo picking up where jordan left off in washington!? cause that's about the only thing about this article that would make it seem plausible.

What has Carmelo done to pick up where MJ left off?????
It is ridiculous how people just crown these players before they have ever done anything.....
25-7-3 is not exactly picking up where MJ left off.
Not to copy off CM but uh.......
Career 30.1 pts a game
Like 9 scoring tiles
1st Team All Defense
5 MVP's
Dude - Get your team past the 2nd round and maybe you might become a blip on the radar screen on Jordan's shittiest day!!!!

Ummm...excuse me haters. I believe the article is referring to where Jordan the sneaker endorser/ line named-after-him guy left off, not necessarily his basketball #'s dumbasses. You cyber-critics alwalys have something negative to write.
