Alright stop, collaborate and listen, Ice is back with a brand new mission...to err, entertain NBA fans during halftime shows? Well that's what happened on Saturday night as a part of the Denver Nuggets 80s night. Too bad Vanilla Ice didn't hit until the 1990s. But who is paying attention to details like that right? Anyhow, here is a look at Vanilla Ice getting the party jumping.
Oh how the mighty have fallen. Okay, okay...oh how the one hit wonders have fallen to their rightful place. All jokes aside, this could turn into a lucrative/niche business for Vanilla Ice and other one hit wonders. I attend enough NBA games to know that there are some pretty bad/lame half time acts out there. They usually are recycled from year to year. NBA teams should consider adding these guy for halftime shows. I mean, look how hyped that crowd in Denver was.
According to Partnership Activation guru, Brian Gainor, both one hit wonders like Vanilla Ice and one time hit makers like Bone Thugs-N-Harmony can now be hired for a nominal fee. The NBA: Where halftime performance by washed up 90s rap acts happens. Word to your Motheerrr!!!!!

Haha, I was there... the entire section was chanting "Ice Ice Baby" instead of "Lets go Nuggets" during the 2nd quarter. I found it amusing. I've also had the pleasure of seeing Young MC and Coolio at Nuggets halftime shows. Better than the dancing grannies and/or douchebags on trampolines wearing skis I guess.

"Play That Funky Music" by Vanilla Ice reached #4 on the top Billboard singles charts. 2 hit songs for the Iceman.
He raps better than most rappers on major labels right now.
