Dwyane Wade is generally considered to be one of the all-around nice guys in sports, recognized for his off-the-court charitable endeavors through his Wade's World foundation. And news of his generous gift to a displaced family was a heart-warmer around Christmas time.So when I hear that his wife and high school sweetheart Siohvaughn is accusing of him abandoning his children, committing adultery, and ... get this ... infecting her with an "unspecified" sexually transmitted disease, I can't help but take the story with a rock of salt.

In a memoir, she said he hid his homosexuality; he denied it. He said they had trysts with a man; she denied that. A judge ruled in August he has to pay child support -- but no alimony.

Bill Murray and Jennifer Butler: When she filed for divorce in May, Butler alleged the funnyman actor abused her and was addicted to marijuana and alcohol. Wade, who was actually named a "Father of the Year" in 2007 by the National Father's Day Committee, of course has adamant legal backing from his Chicago attorney, James Pritikin. "These allegations are absolutely false and we look forward to the opportunity to dispute them in court," Pritikin said.
Oh, and you guessed it, there's a counterpoint from Siohvaughn's attorney. "A person's public persona does not necessarily reflect his behavior in private," stated Dorene Marcus.
There's no clear lane to righteousness here, only more mud-flinging and hurt. We'll see how it all shakes out.

I really don't believe she is a "goldigger". Remeber they have been together since the early college days. He is the "typical" athlete that got sucked into the 'groupism". Let's be clear, Dwayne is not the most handsome guy and the money has made him a lot more attractive. I think it is a given that the guys will cheat, but if he didn't have the decency to care about himself and wrap it up, he could have considered his wife. It's always so easy to blame the wife, but guess what, no matter how much a man cheats, he woud not have tolerated it from her. He has PR people to advise him and it is their job to make him appear to be "squeaky clean". We all know how far that goes, ask Kobe.

Im not even saying she is a golddigger but I will gaurantee based on his god given athletic skills he was a big man on his high school campus and his wife was not the only one shooting at him. She needs to put it in perspective and move on. Ask her to call some of her high school girlfriends and ask them how many have gotten to live the life she has and what they got in their divorce. Now some poor guy is going to have to listen to her bitch about it the rest of her life cause she will live in the past and I gaurantee he wont. She needs to get over it and enjoy the money she will soon get and live

I don't know this couple, but if a guy gets an STD from his wife and thus finds out that she has been spreading herself around.......don't you just think he might be a bit angry??????????? Who cares whether she's an athlete, lawyer, a teacher etc. - if she's a tramp, the husband would be taking her to court and going for child support, custody etc. Why is a woman a B**** or a money-whore because she has been betrayed and is angry? I will say that they need to act responsibly during the divorce or they will hurt the kids - but if they don't, they won't be the first couple to destroy their kids in divorce.

Actually, they have been together since HS. It doesn't matter if she is attractive to you, or if she is fat, he chose her! He also chose to go out and cheat, and allegedly give her a sexually transmitted disease.
