After years of begging from fans, and one year in the D-League test-bed, there will be a H.O.R.S.E. competition at this year's All-Star Game. TNT will air the competition during the episode of Inside the NBA immediately preceding the Saturday night fare on Valentine's Day.No word on the three contestants yet; that's what will make or break the entertainment value. The initial rules give us a hint as to where TNT is going with it: No dunks allowed. That means we'll likely have some goofy shooters, probably with a half-court shot or 10 mixed in.
There's one more note of interest: TNT announced the broadcasters for the event as Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and ... Chris Webber. I guess Charles Barkley won't be back for the All-Star Game (arguably TNT's signature basketball event of the season since ESPN took over the draft).

YESS!!! how awsome... lets see how long it takes to get Kobe VS Lebron. what a perfect game for all star weekend. and it takes some pressure off the dunk contest cuz every dunk has already been done...
Steve Nash and Rasheed Wallace should get invites.
..and Larry Bird, Michael Jordan....and McDonald's.

uhhh, i back off in fear of another studio wrestling rebuttal.
Kevin Love has a couple of shots that would be great in HORSE. And Rasheed Wallace has some amazing shots. However, even better than HORSE would be one-on-one matches with Kobe and LeBron.
Juan,
Now we ridicule you for having the comebacks of a 3rd grader.
woot awesome i love it now chris paul and people who can't dunk can play in it!! :DDD awesome dudezzz
