Every night there are some stupendous, silly, stupid, or downright outlandish individual lines from around the "lig." Doing Lines lets you know which one tops the list.The Warriors love to play gracious antagonist to all seeking stupendous, silly, stupid and downright outlandish individual lines. And really, it's hard to pick between three of Sunday's Golden State opponents.
On the one hand, Mehmet Okur went gonzo, scoring 23 points in just 26 minutes. Then there's Ronnie Brewer, a cat on an absolutely vicious tear of late: one night after dropping 26 on the Kings, Brewer put up a 21/9/6/3 line on GSW. But it's impossible to look past a nice round number like 20. As in Deron Williams' 20 assists. D-Will had a rough night shooting, but did I mention the 20 assists?
Eat the head!: Yao Ming has no problem decapitating his entrées. He supplemented his 17 points and 11 rebounds with a monstrous six blocks against Minnesota. Four of them can be pinned Kevin Love. Do not challenge Yao, kid. (Love actually had three blocks of his own. But two of them came against Luis Scola, and everyone knows that Luis Scola is a myth. So just one official block for Love.)
Superfriends: You beat the Spurs by 18, you deserve a Lines entry. So let's remove the hats for our friends Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge, who combined to score 52 points on 21-31 shooting and had nary a turnover betwixt them. Cheers, fellas.

I see Utah right up-there with LA;
In fact, Utah has a much better bench
then LA and remember what happened to
Dallas 3 years ago with GS is up to
Sloan to make the right moves plus
everybody is healthy in Utah and
inspire.

Frank needs to stop posting when he is not sober.
LA is a much better team than Utah, that is evidenced by their records.
That being said, I think Utah matches up well with LA. LA still has problems with Utah's physicality, especially when the refs are inconsistent.
comparing Utah to the Lakers is almost ludicrous though, lets not use hopes and dreams to rank teams

Yeah, the record is the only thing that matters. Let's see how great the lakers' record would be without half of their top 6 guys for the entire season, save for the last 4 games.
The lakers *are* a better team than the Jazz, but the record shows, if nothing else, that they have been a much healthier team. To extrapolate the Jazz season record to be completely evocative of their true ability is like bombing civilians and then hanging a sign on an air craft carrier that says "mission accomplished". It's an easy connection to make, though, in the long run may come to bite you in your backside down the line.
Jazz aren't the best team. But they are a lot closer to the lakers than they are closer to their pathetic record this season.

i'll tell yall what tony parker is a legend in his own mind.i've watched him in his game and i'm not impressed.i mean he doesn't have any special skill he's just an average player, and to compre him to d.w. or c.p. is an insult to them for lowering them to his catagory.tony parker might be a great player if he played in high school right now,or maybe even if he was someone else.ha ha
