ESPN will be airing a documentary on Kobe Bryant on May 16th, one that was over a year in the making and that was produced by Spike Lee. Here's a glimpse of what to expect, in three short clips from the movie itself. Whether you love Kobe or hate him, it's hard to imagine that this won't be riveting television for basketball fans.

whether people like him or not, think he's great or not, he clearly has had an impact in the game...and his accomplishments will be remembered in sports long after those of many of his detractors or fans on this board. What's been interesting to watch is his evolution as a person and most especially his evolution as a player...I wish him and others in the game who excel at what they do, the best. People like Kobe, Lebron, DWade take the game and elevate it for all who watch.

Great actual basketball film , but if its a doc of Kobe i wanna know if Spike follows him after the road games and films Kobe cheating on his wife and committing adultery over and over again. Using his fame to take advantage of young women and then leaving them and going back to his home. And yes i know a lot a famous athletes do this but most of them dont try to project such a wholesome image in everything public they do like Kobe does. In a way it makes him even less trustworthy and kind of a hippocrit. Great student of the game though...

People need to stop hating on Kobe for getting caught messing around. Athletes and famous people aren't the only ones that commit adultery. It's just that when they get caught, the whole world knows. Doesn't make it right but, enough already. Part of life is an act. Everyone does it, including you. I wonder how the "victim" was thought of before everything went public. Sweet, Wholesome, Funny? Everytime you bring up Kobe's indescretion, you remind the world that all criminal charges against him were dropped, because why? Oh yeah, the DNA of 3 other guys were found on that sweet "victim's" nasty panty. Go on and keep hating. Kobe will go on to leave his legendary mark on the game of basketball and as the "victim" tries to move on with her fake life, you'll once again cause everyone to wonder what happened and then it will always come back to her panty's and fake a** claim.
