After likely losing their emotional leader on the court for the duration of the playoffs, the Celtics will start their postseason without their field general in the front office. Celtics president and GM Danny Ainge is "resting comfortably" in a hospital today after suffering a heart attack earlier this morning, according to WCVB TV in Boston. Ainge woke up this morning with chest pains, and upon arriving to the hospital doctors inserted a stent to clear an artery that was 100% clogged. Fortunately it appears that he's avoided any serious problems, but he likely won't be able to attend the first game of Boston's playoff series with the Bulls on Saturday.

I'd have a heart attack too, if I learned by best player might miss the entire playoffs. Hope he gets better, loved him when he was with the Suns
As a true Purple and Gold Lakers fan and a complete Celtic Hater, I sincerely hope your OK Danny. Hurry up and get better because the rivalry still needs you in the mix dude. Take care bro!
angioplasty is for the poor as it seems everyone with money gets heart surgery.
I hope that Ainge recovered well from the heart surgery. Boston needs him to help them get the talent to win another title next year.
