It took 1,230 regular season games to get here, but the playoffs are finally upon us. After the jump, the NBA FanHouse roster makes their predictions for the first round. Everyone seems to agree they have the Eastern Conference figured out, but there's a lot of debate about the Western Conference, which shouldn't surprise anyone considering six of the eight seeds weren't decided until
the final night of the season.

Yeah, I've got something I disagree with.
Why did you use Tony Parker's jersey to represent the Spurs? Granted, he's been extremely significant in the Spurs' hobbling along w/o Ginobili, but there's just something wrong about not using Timmeh's jersey. Something perversely wrong.
And why you used Mamba's jersey instead of Adam Morrison's is beyond me.

Do you ALL really think that the Heat will beat the Hawks. Sorry, but that's stupid. The Heat have only one player,,one. The rest of that team is a joke with a rookie that could be the biggest help for Wade, but he's not even a starter.
The Hawks on the other hand showed this season that the series against Boston was not a fluke and that they are a team. Plus, they beaten Miami in Miami and are really good at home. And they have Joe.

I completely agree. I'm not a Hawks fan, but I was really suprised to see everyone agreeing on the Heat moving on. Wade is great and all, but unless a repeat of the Dallas series happens (eg: refs give away garbage calls) theres no way Wade can carry the whole team for 7-games. Hawks also have a pretty good player named Joe Johnson, a vetern point guard, a beast in Hortford, and an atheletic freak in Josh Smith. I just can't see the Heat pulling it out. Maybe the 'experts' see something I don't.

As a sixers fan, I'm just proud we're gonna get a win. Haven't had one (against a team with all its real players) since, like, new years.

Heat over the Hawks?? No way, the Heat are way to one player to beat a team. Your way off there. Chicago will keep things very interesting against your poster team the celtics.

Detroit wont beat cleveland. that series is over in 5. Detroit has no defense. Rasheed will pick up about 100 technical fouls (cuz god knows he loves the attention) and plus the fact anderson varejo will get under his skin. Only team in the east i believe will have a chance to take down the cavs is Boston. Only way detroit wins series is if LBJ and MO and Z all dont show up for the series, and with all the bad blood in this rivalry i highly doubt there will be a let downon the cavs part
