Andrew Bynum, Rihanna Not a Couple

The Lakers are in full-on cruise control for an NBA Championship (and break the curse of 2002!) right now. Which would explain why rumors that Andrew Bynum is dating pop star Rihanna are surfacing all over the place.

But our sources have told us that they are NOT dating. And by "sources" I obviously mean "X17Online, via TMZ" who spoke to the Lakers superstar recently about their purported relationship.

Bynum was a man of few words when we caught him out running errands yesterday. We asked him about the dinner with Rihanna and if it was a date, to which he replied, "No." To clarify, we asked if they were just friends, to which he responded, "Yes." Finally, when asked if he thinks it could turn into something more in the future, he replied, "No."

So there! Totally clear and obvi, obvi. And before you ask, "Is this newz??" allow me to say that, "Yes, it is newz." You know why? Because before today I literally thought that Rihanna was some chick that Mick Fleetwood obsessed over. So, I'll just sit here and wait for an opening at E! while you process that. And then we can all get back to the NBA playoffs.
