After Dwight Howard connected with an elbow to Samuel Dalembert's temple in Tuesday's game, you might have thought that Dalembert would come into Thursday's game looking for retribution. Instead, he apparently came looking to make peace -- whether Hedo Turkoglu wanted to or not. Dalembert and Turkoglu got tangled in the paint in the fourth quarter, at which point Dalembert apparently decided to plant a kiss on Turkoglu's forehead. In lieu of apparently non-existent YouTube footage, I advise you to check out the series of pictures taken by Gary W. Green of the Orlando Sentinel, which captures the odd incident frame by frame.
After Turkoglu angrily took offense, both he and Dalembert were tagged with double technicals. Given that Turkoglu had already picked up a tech earlier in the night for arguing a call, it was essentially a kiss of death, sending him back to the locker room for an early shower.
In the end, Turokoglu came out ahead -- the Magic clinched the series in a blowout win -- but it's still a perfect example to illustrate the curious officiating we've seen thus far in the playoffs. Taking a swipe at someone's head as they try to tie the game? No big deal. Taking offense at being kissed by an opponent? Hit the showers!

No, actually Dalembert elbowed Turkaglu just prior to Hedo confronting Dalembert. Get the story straight. He was probably giving him a kiss on his booboo though.

Perhaps you should go look at video of events just prior to the tussle and see Dalembert hit Turkoglu with an elbow. Or go back a few games and see Dwight Howard's head snapped back by a 76er who tried rebounding his forehead from behind. Why no suspensions? Heck, they didn't even call a foul on either play.
