DALLAS -- The pregame scene here at the American Airlines Center was calm before the start of Game 4 between the Mavericks and the Nuggets. But the night is young.
Mark Cuban wouldn't talk much with reporters regarding his shouting match with Kenyon Martin's mom following Game 3 on Saturday night. Martin wasn't around to speak to reporters. But rapper Lil Wayne was here. He's sitting courtside before this steel cage match starts.
As Cuban was working on a Stairmaster he was asked who wins a MMA fight between him and Martin, whom he called a thug, or punk, or something, depending on whom you speak with.
Cuban laughed it off.
Martin isn't laughing. At the shootaround this morning, Martin said he plans to speak with Cuban personality.
"Kenyon is a man," George Karl said. "He doesn't want to discuss his problems with you guys. I would perfer he do it in the summer time. Best served, probably for both of them. Let the emotion go away and go have dinner."
When Cuban was told this he said, "Tell him anywhere he wants. George knows how Pittsburgh boys roll."
Cuban didn't think a confrontation would occur with Martin before the game, but then he said he would have Lydia Moore sit with him near the Mavericks bench.
