LeBron James chastised his supporting cast, admitting for the first time that unless more help arrives soon, the best season in franchise history will come to a screeching halt in these Eastern Conference finals against the Orlando Magic. The Magic lead the best-of-seven series, 2-1, with Game 4 tonight in Orlando. The Cavs, who won 66 games during the regular season, are the No. 1 seed. James may be having a fabulous series – averaging 41.7 ppg and shooting 53 percent – but he said that another huge game for him is not a winning formula.
"It would be pretty tough (to win like this),'' he said Monday. "I know they (teammates) can play a lot better. They know it too. I don't want to put more pressure on anyone, but we've got to man up a little bit, take responsibility.''
While James is dominating the series, the Cavs are proving the theory that a One Man Show – even as great as James is – can't prevail in the playoffs over a more balance attack that the Magic have shown.
"As long as I stay upbeat, we've got a chance,'' James said. "But our guys have to do what they've done all season, hit some shots and take some pressure off me.''
Cavs guard Mo Williams is averaging 17 points in this series, but he is shooting just 32 percent from the field. The Cavs are getting virtually no production from their reserves, although they aren't playing much, either. James, Williams and Delonte West all are averaging 42 minutes or more.
James specifically pointed at Williams and West as the ones who need to play better. Williams was the first to concur with James.
"We've always got LeBron, but other guys have to step up,'' Williams said. "We're getting shots, but everything if off LeBron. He either makes the plays, or he makes a play for someone else. We've got to get him a couple possessions where he doesn't have to do anything. We did it all year, and we've got to get back to that now.''

Don't you just love when players put down their teammates? Payton Manning does the same thing. It shows the true nature of these ego-driven superstars and it "aint pretty".

The Cavs won 66 regular season games this year. The Celtics won 66 regular season games last year. The Celtics went on to win the championship, the Cavaliers will NOT.
The difference is that the Celtics were a better TEAM. They didn't have to rely on one player to do it all. In a sense, both LeBron and Kobe are high risk players when it comes to their teams winning a title. If either one of them goes into a slump or gets injured, their team is doomed.

I really do like how Lebron gets his teamates involved in the game. You cant deny that he does try and play a team game. I figured it would have taken him many more years before he showed this kind of maturity. And noone can deny the fact his supporting cast has been sucking big time. But one thing i must say is when it comes down to the last play and the last shot if every now and again he passes that off to an open teamate i am ok with that, but it seems to be a trend with this guy. Being a lifelong Pistons fan i can remember a playoff game where he passed the last shot off to Varejao, i think it was him, either way u get my point that last shot is his to make or to miss. And if his teamates dont show up soon i do believe it is bye bye for this guy.
